photo journal

These are two pictures of the school grounds after school was over. The cool part of the picture is that light is reflected off of the snow giving more light in the pictures. This made the photo brighter and gave more detail to it.

rules of photography

Rule of Thirds: Photos that are divided into thirds with two imaginary lines vertically and two lines horizontally.
I took this photo of Brett to have a great action and rule of thirds shot, because he is in one of the imaginary lines in the photo to make it rule of thirds.
This photo was taken because the tree stump was perfectly situated in the rule of thirds lines.

The photo shows the one bright color on a grey day such as the red fire hydrant. This photo shows rule of thirds with the fire hydrant on one of the lines.

The rule of thirds focuses on the small basketball hoop which is different than other objects.

The reason why I took this photo is that there where a lot of objects that showed rule of thirds such as the playground equipment and the swings.

Pattern: a repeated decorative design

This is a pattern photo which shows a repeated object like these bibles I found in the gym.

This is another pattern of a stone wall outside on the school grounds during a snow storm.

This is a pattern of one of the platforms for the playground equipment which was very cool looking.

This is another playground equipment pattern out in the snow.

These are patterns on the brick wall inside the school it shows a little texture with the bumpiness of the wall.

self portrait

This is a self portrait photo of me during school. The technique was really hard since i had to hold it with one hand. My facial expression is boredom during one of my classes in school. Because I usually get easily bored with things.

Double Exposure

These are double exposure photographs, the goal was to edit the opacity of a photo with another to see the photos back to back. My favorite one is the third one where Jaylan looks like he is doing a summersault on the road in the other picture behind it due to the edited opacity. I could of had more options but these are still good pictures.

photo of the week 15

Photo taken by Unknown Photographer
This photo looks cool because of the lighting and shadows of the ruins. This shows an example of how devastating the civil war is in that country. The picture shows that rebels are fighting for freedom in the broken country called Syria. Shout out to Israel I pray for their safety.

Portrait photos

These are portrait photos of different people. They all incorporate black and white with a little contrast and
lighting. The portraits are close ups of peoples faces which is neat. My favorite photo would be the third one.
Because of the nice shadowing and contrast.

What I could of done is that I should have gotten a more "photogenic" person per say. I also should of edited the last one a little more. Overall the black and white looks really cool. For example the third and fourth one look like there in the 50's.

reflection photos

These are reflection photos. They mix between mostly reflections off water, objects, and grass. One of my favorite ones is the third one. The reflection of the sun off the water causes the area around it to darken
causing a cool ambiance. These are the good pictures I have taken with detail which I am proud of.
