This photo is by Andy Clark, this is a photo of a famous biker doing tricks at a sports event in British Columbia. What I like about the photo is the lighting of the clouds and shadows in the trees. Another thing is the color of the Red Bull helmet with the red,yellow,and blue. Overall this photo is great.

Simplicity Photo

What I liked about this photo is the detail of the leaves and the rocks. Also I like the quote by Alexander a great general. What I could of done was to level out the shadows and highlights and the colors. Another thing is that there are two people up on the top one is more noticeable. But still the picture has great symbolism that represents the quote.

The contrast is great so it brings out the colors.There is also good volume in the rocks,trees,and the stone steps.The lining and depth is great. also the dents and signs of wear is shown in the photo. The technique that I used is by slanting the camera a little upwards to get a good photo.

What I could of done is to bring out shadows and lessen the highlights. Again I could of cropped out the dude in the top left with the red shirt. The contrast was kind of high. But still it was a good photo.

Photo of the week 3

This photo was shot by Vasily Fedosenko in Ukraine. What I liked about this photo is the electricity and lights shooting in various directions.My eyes travel from that tent in the center of the photo to the electric coils. The shadows and hightlights where darkened to show more of the coils of electricity.

Texture and Pattern

The main concept of the picture is the scenery of the school south campus. My favorite part is the texture and color of the picture. The viewer could notice the objects in the background such as the boats.

The vantage point is a little slanted up. I edited the contrast and the light of the picture. The design principle was to notice the various objects.
What I would do is the contrast is a little low. I would take away the shadowing a little. I could have done different technique.

Resting Miner

The Photo was taken by a guy named Reuters. It is a photo of a miner resting at a coal mine in the Shanxi province in China. The first thing that i noticed was the miner resting. Nothing should be taken away in this great photo because of the great quality in the photo. The photo is trying to express the hard working people of China such as this miner right here.

I am sitting on my back deck reading a military history book. The vantage point is slanted a little bit.

It shows a part of my personality that I like to learn things. The background is the woods behind my house.
